Artist

Photography is the most unique art form. A sculptor can create anything his mind's eye can conceive, limited only by the materials in his hands. A painter can put his imagination on a canvas, limited only by the colors of his palette. A photographer on the other hand creates art from light. The photographer's material is limited strictly to what he sees. His palette is limited to the light his can film capture. Therein lies the challenge that draws me to photography.

God blessed me by allowing me to call Colorado home for six years. There is no end to the subject matter there; natural, human or otherwise. The Rocky Mountains are breathtaking. Coloradoans are some of the most colorful and diverse people in the world. Even the light in Colorado has a sharp, brilliant quality that begs to be placed on film.

I make no secret about the fact that I am an amateur. I don't spend hundreds of dollars on equipment. I don't develop my own photographs in a closet darkroom. This isn't a money-making business for me. It's art. Thus, I am an artist.

I am very honored to announce that some of my shots have been selected to appear on Photo Box. You can see and rate my photos here.

If you have any interest in the photographs on my web site or if you would like to set up a shoot for yourself, please contact me. I will only ask that you cover the cost of the prints you receive. If you have any questions, just e-mail me at photos@light-spark.com.
